RIMINI WORM
FEATURES:

Eunice aphroditois called Rimini worm or Vermara is widely used in surfcasting for good grip on the hook even in the most difficult throws. It is very bloody and one of the main features is its phosphorescence that makes it effectual in night fishing or in deep water where little light penetrates. Ideal for all kind of bottom fish.

CONSERVATION/AVAILABILITY:

+10/+12  It lasts several weeks if well preserved. Available throughout the year.

TECHNIQUE USED:

Ideal for catching big fish (Gilthead bream, Dentex, Conger eel, Bass, Sea bream) it’s used for bottom fishing especially at night.

BAITS GUIDE:

It’s triggered in pieces that are cut from the tail, taking care not to be bitten. Usually it’s used on long stem hooks and the operation can be facilitated using trigger needle and elastic thread. Being a selective bait (it doesn’t be ruined by minnows) it’s better use big size triggers also … also to ten cm.
